    Hello there,

I have put together numerous projects in DVDlab Pro, always with the success possible in V. 1.6 (I prefer the rendering of subs, they look far better.)

This time - regardless of settings (AFAIK) - the subs come out all black...
I did the following (as always):
    - rendered the subs with MaestroSBT as .son+.bmp's, they look fine, two colors are there (outline and text)
    - import them into DVDlab Pro, have the subs rendered with setting "Vector Smooth", subs render OK
    - compile the DVD and: The subs are there, work correctly, BUT all black, i.e. outline and text!

So far I often got reversed coloring, outline white, text black, but this is new to me. In the first case I use pgcedit to adjust the CLUT-colors and have just to exchange black and white - this time: no go!
I looked in 'Project Properties', color palette seems to be the usual (default) one, in pgcedit as well after compiling it looks OK.

I can solve the problem with DVDSubEdit and I did of course, but I would like to know what went wrong in DVDlab Pro... The black subs in DVDSubEdit show a CLUT with green "b", "p" and "e1" and "e2" (i.e. three of four rectangles) black, changing those gets me the coloring for the subs I want, but why is it that I can't find this setting either in pgcedit or DVDlab Pro itself?

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 8)
