  1. Hello. I have a Pioneer DVD Recorder. I recorded some tv show in regular DVD Video mode, and attempted to transfer the content to Ulead's DVD Movie Factory 3 on my PC in order to edit out the commercials. It gave me an error saying that AC3 audio cannot be read by Movie Factory 3. Does anyone have any conversion tools that will convert the audio to regular mp3 or something that Movie Factory 3 will read, so i can edit the movie? I could have recorded the movie in DVD-VR mode, where my recorded's spiffy editing functions could have been utilized, but alas, i did not use that mode.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    thanx a lot!

Have you tried searching the tools section - convert DVD - MP3 or AC3 - Mp3 (or better yet, wav, so you don't screw up the audio). There are number of tools to do this, as well as a number of guides.
