    I have a Pioneer A05 with Firmware version 1.33 from the Pioneer web site. I was wondering if my drive/firwmware will be able to burn onto the TDK 16X DVD-R Media? I purchased 200 at Costco for $46 (2 for 1 special). I hope I didn't spend the money for a product I can't use right away.

    Or do I need to upgrade my drive in order to use this media? I can Identify it using DVDRinfopro, so should I be able to burn onto it even at 4X?

    Yes, you will be able to burn at 4x with no issues.
