i jus want to know how long it takes for u to encode to vcd/svcd becasue i am going to invest into a new machine and need the fastest encoding time

jus tell me ur spec n time taken to encode

P4 2ghz 512mb ram raid0,

Heat 16:9 172 min, 3 step vcd galaxy dvd ripping / encoding pack v2.6, 5 hours to encode back to 720x480 cdr of 65 ( max limit of 6100, min of 3100 )mpeg2, audio is 48khz, 192bits final file size of 4.65gb on ntfs file system under Win2ksp2.

Takes approx 1:45 minutes, give or take 10 min to do a 2 hour movie using TMPENC with the supplied ntsc film template with motion extimate set to HIGH (slow setting).
