I have about a 10 minute clip in asf format that is taking forever to convert to mpeg. Time says 56 hrs has been running now for 11. I am using a 550 AMD with 503 ram. Is this the only encoder that can do asf files? I loaded the PAL template but if I change all the settings would the template loaded make much of a difference. I seen an earlier post about "a template that works for me" Should there be an icon next to the template showing windows understands? If a couple minute clip takes this long how long would a real movie take?
