Hi,
I have a problem: a xvid movie in 23fps and a subtitle file in 25 fps. Ofcourse its out of sync. I tried looking for a 23fps subitle file but there seems to be none.
So i need to sync the subtitle to 23 fps. I tried several programs (subsync etc..) but none seem to work. Is there a program that automatically converts your subtitle file to 23 fps so its in sync?
I tried it the other way around (converting the xvid to 25 fps) but that didnt work.. strangely.. and it cost me a day so im quite desperate now.
Any help is appriciated, thanks alot!

Install Subtitle Workshop and read the included help file how to sync a subtitle with video.
I suggest that you print the help file and use it while you work with the program.
All you have to do is:
- open your subtitle file and open the movie,
- click on the first subtitle line, determine the time where the first subtitle line is shown, pause the video at that point, mark as first sync point (Ctrl+1),
- then click on the last subtitle line, determine where it is shown in video, pause the video at that point and mark as last sync point (Ctrl+2).
This works and it's easy to do. -
or just open it in subtitle workshop and select 25fps in the "Input FPS" box and 23 fps in the "Output FPS" box, if that works.
