    Is there an easy way to do a high resolution still frame capture of a dvd into a jpeg?

    Here's a working method :

    Use ifoedit , to open the video_ts_ifo , yes , if you have nero showtime installed it can even open the one from the dvd drive as well .

    Hit play , navigate to to where the picture is you require , just before you get to it hit the pause button , it takes a few seconds to do this , so hit it about 3 seconds before it .

    Use mwsnap to take a snap of the window menu , or any rect area , then save it as jpg .

    it works , just a pity the pause thing is a bit slow .
