I recently installed InCD which came with my HP dvd740e burner. Today, I am showing two InCD icons in the icon tray. Is this normal? The EXE is also loaded twice.

I went to do an uninstall and there is no listing for InCD in "Add/Remove Programs". How do I uninstall this thing?

You can find a removal tool at the Nero site:http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html

InCD can cause problems. I avoid installing it.

I rarely use CD-RW or packet writing software, but in the past I used B's CLiP6.

The problem I had with InCD was that it wasn't compatible with some of my other burning programs. I haven't used B's CLiP6 for quite a while, so I'm not sure how it gets along with other burning programs, either.

If I may ask, how then do you backup up your system? Other than a separate hard drive for mirroring (which I do!) and backing up to -rw disks (which I do!)... Any other options?

I don't know of any backup software that works with +r (versus -rw).

I use Acronis to backup the boot drive to a dedicated removable hard drive. I also back up programs to DVD -R data discs. I have 4 hard drives; Boot, Edit, Archive, and Backup. These are all 80Gb SATA drives. (They are small, but I got them for a good price )
