Hello,
I am trying to convert an avi film from a 3 cd (one movie) to DVD using this guide: http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/70/59/ .
The problem is, When reaching step 12 the size of the file to encone is over 4.7GB (109%) and I can't move the bar to 99%, not even with the auto setting checkbox.
The average bitrate is stuck on 3000 kbits\sec (mybee its a minimum ?).
Can anyone help with this one ?
Thanks,
Gvid.

Proceed all the way through as normal and then as tbjerret suggested-use DVD Shrink to fit to disc.

Personally i wouldn't append each segment in case of sync issues. Encode each file separately and then 'author' together. TMPGenc will allow you to 'reduce' filesize by reducing bitrate. Do as Abond suggested or the even 'easier' way is, when project wizard opens up and at the pennultimate step, simply reduce the '%' of filesize down-job done.
