  1. I have a KVCD (bin & cue) and I want to be able to watch it in my stand alone dvd player. I was told to right click the cue file and select Open With-> Nero Burning Rom. I did this and it brought me to a "cue sheet" burning screen. It went through the burning process, but when I try to play the cd-r in my dvd player it will not work. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. Maybe give me some better instructions? Thanks.

Several options: You could mount the BIN/CUE image with Daemon Tools to see if you can play it from your hard drive. You could extract it with a program like ISOBuster. Nero may be burning it alright, the file itself may have problems.

Or your DVD player may not like KVCD format. After all, it is not a standard format. Does the disc play with a software player in your computer?

  3. It will not play on the pc either. Tried two different dvd players, will not play. Tried Daemon tools, no go. Am able to extract avseq01 from .bin using Isobuster but it ends up being a .dat file instead of a video file that I can play on media player.

I'd use VCDGear to extract the MPEG file out of the bin, then try playing it on your PC.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  6. KVCD is non compliant and poor quality imo. I would not bother with it. If you must use it, better to direct your questions to http://www.kvcd.net/portal/index.php
..although they might try and charge you.

This site does not support KVCD or KDVD templates because of various quality and compliance issues.
