    Well I finally figured out that to use Lite-on firmware you need to change the name of the file. On mine I needed to change the lettering to DTEA
    This works on newer daytek P30s that where made after summer of 2004.

    Made, not purchased. When does it say it was made on the sticker on the back of the recorder? Mine says January 2004, so I'm unsure if it will work...
