  1. Right well when I have widescreen sources and I notice that when I pick the the 29 fps ntsc one it tends to make it full screen, is the other 24 fps ntsc film one suppose to keep the wide screen bars?

    Don't use wizard.
Load your source via browse button.
Click on load button-load DVD template.
    Next load unlock.mcf
    Click on settings button
Adjust aspect ratio to 16:9, click OK.
    Hit start button

No. The 24 fps is for the film template which requires pulldown flags and such to use properly. It's not vcd compliant anyway and you shouldn't use it.

You can create your own custom templates so that in the future you don't have to keep changing the setting. Just open the template you normally use, make the proper adjustments and then hit the save button next to the load button. Next time load this template instead of the one you normally use.

Probably should add there to give it a different filename, like "StoneColdWhat VCD". Otherwise you'll be saving it straight over the top of the "original" VCD template and the default settings will be gone for good.
    If in doubt, Google it.
