Hi! I just got the Creative Video Blaster and I was wondering something. I know I can convert a mpeg-1 to VCD, but my question is: Can I do the same with a mpet-2? I mean turn a mpeg-2 to VCD? If yes, what program should I use?
Thx in advance...

Basicly yes, you can load your MPEG2 file in TMPGEnc, load a VCD Template and Encode, it will create a MPEG1 out of your MPEG2.

Thx Sefy! But is this worth while! Will I see a difference?
p.s.: I'm transfering old home videos -
Actually, I don't think it's worth it, mostly because re-encoding will always reduce quality, so it's not recommanded
