    hey, im having trouble burning on to Memorex 16x DVD-R's with my External 8x Lite On SOHW-812SX, normally the different speeds arent a problem, but it seems to only be doing this with these discs, i already wasted 6 discs on bad copies. could this have anything to do with the firmware? because ive never updated it. also, where could i find a firmware upgrade for my SOHW-812SX? The only place ive seen it is on the chinese Lite-On site, where you cant actually download it, for some reason. thanks

    also, i found this link to firmware for it

    but it links to the download from the Lite-On website, which doesnt work anymore

    ok, i downloaded and installed the newest firmware for it, but now the light on the burner justs blinks orange on and off, and it doesnt read or write discs. now what should i do?
