I have not seen this error before. However, can you try deleting any dnb_xxxx.xml files in the SVCD2DVD folder to see if that resolves the issue?

I got this error and "deleting any dnb_xxxx.xml files in the SVCD2DVD folder" fixed it! Just in case it helps in any debugging.

Can you make sure you have default XP DEP settings: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1360890#1360890

and then reinstall. The error you are gettings on install is the issue.

I had the same problem as 'no hope' and used 'stedlj' solution to get it to work, so try that 'no hope and see if that works.

By the way I have the same reg keys as you with the same figures in them.
