  1. Quick question. For playback on a divix dvd player, what would be better to put the files on, a cd or DVD? I'm only thinking there might be less work for the player to do with a cd, and thus get better playback. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The only factor here would be the size of media and your personal preference. If the Divx file is smaller than CD capacity, why waste a DVD? That's the only consideration I'd give to this.

I've heard of some DivX players only playing Divx/xvid on CD. Mine plays fine on both. I'd suggest making up a sample CD & DVD with a few different files and testing it out.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Never heard of any players that don't support playback via DVD. Just stick with ISO, not UDF for burning.

If anything DVD should give better playback, since the data transfer rates are higher. This would only make a difference with high bitrate sources though.
