  1. Hi, i want to play x264/H264/MKV files on my laptop,VLC can play these files, can i use divix player to play these files for better sound & video quality?before i used watch movies using power dvd 9, but since started converting all movies to H264 content, i expect same sound & video quality that power dvd gives. any advice will be greatly appreciated, THANKS IN ADVANCE

    If you install the required codecs it should with divx player and probably also powerdvd. Install for example ffdshow.

    BUT I doubt you will get any better quality than VLC.

  3. i will use MPC Home cinema,power dvd 10 plays mkv files, but h26/mkv in power dvd shows pixelating,dark spots.
