  1. My question is this.......I have used the Bitrate calculator and 2pass to utilize the entire disk and the pictures seem to look better. Now I am wondering if changing the frame size from 352x240 to 480x480 will make a visual difference when I play it on my DVD player. I am using tmg to convert avi-mpg and nero (DEMO) to burn (the demo version only has the vcd option). I would appreciate any help you can lend me

  3. generally high resolutions only benifit from enough bandwidth.. 480x480 benifits from a 1800 kb/s or better bitrate (video). any lower and you probably can just stick with 352x240.. if you up the resolution and not the bitrate it can (sometimes) end up looking worse - imo

Yep. Think of bitrate as money, and your framesize as number of people attending your party...

The party will be better for more people if you spend more, but the more you spend, the less room you have to party.
