  1. I know...I've searched the forum and archives and there have been problems ripping this DVD...

According to past posts about this...some people have no problem, while it seems more have had problems.

Yet...no answer or solution was ever given....so...

I just ripped the DVD with all 3 Smartrippers.

    2.12
    2.36
    2.40

and all 3 produce the same results...problem is...

when going into Flask to load...I click the IFO file...

it says 1h36min (I think) and I pick the AC3 English track..

click FLASK THIS DVD..and instantly...I get an error window saying..

An Error Occured.... and I can only click OK...

but..I've done many others ...Osmosis Jones,Shrek, Trees Lounge, KingPin and almost all of the rest of my DVD collection....

What is causing Flask ver .6 with DivX 4.11 to not even load???

I mean..it sees the disc..and reconizes the format...but then will not go any further then that.

Anybody out there that can give me a solid answer and NOT SAY "it worked for me"

    Thanks guys,
    Jason

  3. How did you rip with smartripper, file or movie mode? These vob include trailer in the last vob so that might be a problem. I ripped in file mode and already finished encode with flask without a problem. The problem that I met is about Vts_02_0 (menu), which was hard to rip or picture got screw after rip completed.

  4. I have always used the BACKUP method on Smartripper.

I've tried other ways, but there's a reason why its in there.

From what I've found in the early days of testing, BACKUP proved to be the best...it took the longest because you are in essence bit-copying the whole disk.

    Anywho...that's what I'm doing.....

now I can pick the individual files and have a complete movie...but in Flask...there is no way to load either multiple jobs or encode multiple files into one.
