    use fcp and dvdsp - can i burn a dvd that works on a mac, pc, and dvd player? right now pc won't play it....settings problem

    Yes, you can do it. Since Dvdvsp produces dvds that adhere to dvd-standards. But there is company called Microsoft, that decided to save same cents (euro or US, no matter), and left out MPEG2 component required for DVD (and SVCD and bunch of other) playback. Of course, not for all versions of OS, just some, to make things complicated.

    There's is no reason to mess with dvdsp settings. Problem is likely to be PC software. Have you tried other PCs? How about Mac used for production? PC and VLC, instead of piece-of-junk Media Player?
