nero vision express 3 error

I have created many dvds using nero vision express. most of the time I use .avi files to create this dvds. sometimes this dvds have ripple effect at the bottom of the screen. what i mean by that is that the picture is not clear but it looks like ripple with distorted picture. I am not sure if this the codec problem of something else. IF anyone has this problem or a solution please let me know.

try convert with some other tool like divxtodvd. if it doesn't work please post more info about the source video.

Below is the info that I got about the file using avicodec.

File : 700 MB (700 MB), duration: 1:08:54, type: AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 77 %

Video : 480 MB, 974 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 640*296 (2.21:1), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Supported

Audio : 220 MB, 448 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 5 channels, 0x2000 = AC3 DVM, Supported

Also I forgot to mention before but I have this problem only with some files.
