    i have been downloading movies and i get alot of avi files.
    i am trying to rip them with my DVDDecrypter and it won't let me rip them so i can watch the movies on my personal DVD player.

    please tell me what i need to do

    Avi has nothing to do with dvd ripping,they are data files which are copied,cut,paste and extracted as such.Also movies can be downloaded which are legal so its not warez unless stated as so.

    Isobuster will extract files from cd/dvd if its on that media.

    Philips 642 dvd player for avi files.

    you have to
    1 convert the avi to a compliant dvd mpeg 1/2
    2 author the converted mpeg 1/2
    dvddecrypter is only a ripping tool it will not convert
    check in the convert section to the left
