TMPGEnc Dvd Author 1.5 "stream reading error"

Hi

Does anyone know what a stream reading error is i'm trying to convert a dvd ram to dvd which i have done before but when i add dvd video there's a pause and i get a message saying "stream reading error"

I have the same problem sometimes. It's the disc itself that is the problem. There must be a deep scratch or scratches on the disc OR somewhere during the show on the disc it freezes or won't play during a certain part. I say play the dvd ram in your DVD player and see if the show skips, freezes or refuses to play during a certain part. If that's the case it won't be able to transfer to TMPGEnc DVD Author.
