I'm trying to do away w/ my vhs and trying to convert them all to dvd.
I have a Nvidia GeForce4 mx420 in my machine and have been told it captures from the in-line.
How do i go about doing so?
What programs do i need?
*i appologize in advance if this should be in the 'newbie forum' I found it appropriate in here...
Much thanks to all who help.

Hi sinobyte,
If you haven't done so already, try doing a forum search for "VHS to DVD" and similar. There should be loads of threads.
There is no one set of tools - it revolves around your needs and personal preferences. Hence, only you can decide, by trial and reading, what to go for. The results o the above search should give you plenty to read and so get you started.
Also, head over to lordsmurf's site: www.digitalfaq.com - he's big into VHS to DVD.
As for specific use of the Nvidia card, refer to the manual / instructions that came with it. A search in the forums for that may yield results too...
Good luck. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
