I'am currently using Pinnacle100i. What to upgrade to a digital freeview card. Thinking of buying Pinnacle300i. What would be as good or better.
My PC spec - Athlon 64 3200, 250GB hd, 1GB ram.
For use in UK - PAL.
I will use card to capture, burn to DVD and always play back on TV (never PC). Also want to capture from video tape so must have S-VHS & audio inputs.
Must recieve freeview ie. BBC3 & BBC4.
I'am new to computers and have been using pinnacle100i for as long as I've had my computer - 8weeks. Use mostly to record live concerts (great at the minute as its festival time - not so great I'am missing out on all coverage on freeview at the minute).
Also did have some footage captured with my current card and the quality was very poor. This was not due to poor receiption or interference. I stopped the recording and restarted and the quality was fine. Nothing else had changed. Is this common. Maybe my computer had over heated it was running all day - or starting to run low on free space (shame it happened at the end of Live8 and during Pink Floyd!!!!!!!!!!).
