    Hey guys,

This question is probably aimed more at users in the UK.

I recently bought myself a Sony BRAVIA KDL40S5500U 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview, in my flat I have 2 coaxial sockets one appears to do nothing the other is my TV aerial, now when I was tuning in the TV I had plugged the coaxial cable in the wrong socket, so the TV detected no channels, realising this I changed the socket and used the auto tune feature again, this time it detected 30ish channels, the TV then stored all the channels it found and I began watching the usual channels I had before (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4), I then by accident discovered I seemed to be picking up freeview channels (BBC3, BBC4, ITV2, ITV3, E4, etc etc). I found this a suprise as I had looked into getting Freeview earlier in the year to find out on the Freeview site that it was not yet avalible and still isn't in the Channel Islands. Anyway I then went out and left the TV on as the Mrs was watching it, when I return about 2 hours later she said the only problem with the channels was that we were picking up ITV Southwest instead of ITV Channel Islands, I then noticed that the remote had a Digital and Analog button so I switched over to analog and began watching ITV Channel Islands. After keeping this channel on for about an hour we decided to watch something on E4 so when I press the Digital button on the remote it went back into freeview mode, but this time with no channels at all, I tried doing a channel search and cannot pick up anything but the 4 channels listed earlier.

EDIT: While I had the digital channels I could also access the interactive features (red button)

Anybody have any ideas why I picked up freeview channels at first and then lost them completly after changing back to analog?
