Hi
Ive had a quick look but cant really find anything relevant...
I want to change the drive in my freeview box but I want to backup the saved content on my pc, or drop on to a disk.
Are the saved tv shows likely to be saved in a recognisable format via windows/linux, eg mpg or avi?
are there any applications to recover media straight from a freeview hard drive?
thanks
PJ

I've never worked with a Freeview device, but they are likely similar to most other DVR type devices and the drive will not be recognized/readable by a PC.
