  1. Hi. I hope this is in the right forum?
i have a sony handycam DCR-HC40 i video taped a concert the other weekend and now i need to sync the audio with it.
I have the audio for the concert and i have been trying out different software (IE Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas 5, Pinnacle Studio 9, etc.)

Is there some special software to do this or can one of the above do this for me without having to move the audiotracks around alittle at a time?

Any help would be great. Is there any video tutorials i can get to learn how to do this?

    Thanks

    Chris

Try Wrigley's Video Tutorials (http://www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial/index.htm). There is an excellent tutorial for doing exactly what you want--at least with Premiere 6.5. I've done a few of these and the technique is pretty straightforward with good results. Hope this helps.

In Premiere or Vegas you can move the audio independently of the video, so just drag it along the timeline to a new starting point. (In Premiere you may have to seperate the audio from the video - look up the help file to see how)
