    hi- i have an mpeg 4 film,would like to put on dvdr- any ideas how to??
    also what is mpeg 4 ? is it playstation dvd??

    mpeg4 is divx,xvid,wmw,h264.

    or is it a mp4 file?

    what does gspot or avicodec say?

    try convert with divxtodvd.

    hi- dvdsanta cannot open it,can't get any info on what type file it is,but says .mp4,so is it an mp4 file??-what are these,i am told the film is to be played on a handheld machine

    DivxtoDVD should support mp4's ok. Otherwise any app that supports input via dshow will if you install the direct dshow filters, such as Haali's splitter and ffdshow.

    I try to open h.264 file with tmpgenc,but they can't be open.

    What a raw h.264 stream? If it is an mp4, then as I said, haali's splitter and ffdshow will do the job, although you may have issues with the audio.

    Even cuting and joining the movie.
