    I installed ffdshow (ffdshow-20050303-sse) but still got error playing using WMP10

    I can only see wmv1 and wmv2 in my ffdshow configuration codec list. I use celtic_druids latest version.

    WMV3 = Windows Media 9. WMP10 should play it back fine via MS's DMO decoder.

    Does the WMP automatically get the DMO decoder if the file played fail?

    Shouldn't need to. WMP9 I believe shipped with decoders for WMV9 and WMA9 so wmp 10 definatly should.
