  1. hey there dvd gods here is my problem im trying to burn a 30 minute tv show on to a blank dvd ( 4.7 gb 2 hours ) on here is the thing i can only fit one episode on a blank dvd after i converted to dvd form what am i doing wrong i mean i should be able to fit 4 episode's on a dvd since it holds 2 hours so any help would be great thanks alot

    A DVD doesn't hold hours and minutes, it holds gigabytes.
    How much timewise you can stuff on to a 4.7 (or rather, 4.37 GB computer "giga") depends on what bitrate it is encoded at.
    Take a look at the bitrate calculator.

    Impossible to say since you have given us no details. Tell us what type of file your source is, what programs you use and the settings and maybe we can offer some advice.

  4. ok the file is a avi. as for programs and the settings im not sure what to put down i use nero to burn with i use cucusoft avi to dvd converter and i have tmpg video encoder xpress also i hope this helps thanks for everything to

  5. It sounds like the video bitrate is set too high,I recommend 4000kb/s max VBR for low action and 6-8000kb/s for high action....also use AC3 or MPEG audio instead of LPCM.
    Try using DVDShrink to fit on DVD.
