    hi

I have a freeview box with a scart output, and 2 audio outputs

I wish to link them up to my Leadtek 200XP deluxe TV Card

I bought a SCART to S-Video and 2 Phono cable to connect the freeview box to the tv card

The aerial in is connected to the freeview box, the aerial out is connected to the aerial in of the tv card, the scart out is connected to the s-video connector on the adapter that came with the tv card

I have loaded up PVR and tried CVBS and S-Video, but all i get is a blue screen

Any suggestions? I've tried everything I can think of!

What kind of SCART adapter (Cables?) are you using?

You need one which you can use for output.
(Most adapters you can switch between input/output)

Also you must be sure the freeview box supports S-Video out or can be configured todo so.
If not, you have to use the composite connection.

If your Freview box is anything like mine (Alba) it doesn't do S-video from the Scart output or anywhere else! My box does RGB and composite and nothing else. A Scart to S-video lead doesn't convert the signal, it has to be in S-video format to begin with. This is normally achieved via a slider-switch or menu setting on the box and if you haven't got these you're screwed.

Yes, a SCART out to 2x audio and 1x composite phono/rca should work.
