i just installed this and its very easy to use, but when i press the begin output button, the whole program just closes and i dont how what to do...any help is welcomed but please dont suggest using a diff program, thanks

Which tmpgenc product are you referring too ?
I'll assume tmpgenc DVD author as it seems to have the closest version nunber. If that is the case, apply the update to the latest version and see what happens.
According o your computer specs you are running Win98. According to Pegasys Inc website, 1.5 and 1.6 of TDA are Win2000 or WinXP only - especially the DVD writer component. This might also have something to do with your problem.Read my blog here.
