  1. Pretty sure I have a virus because my system restore got disabled and it was enabled before so I can't just system restore to when it was working. This happened a few days ago. I ran AVG, Spyware Doctor and MalywareBytes and they cleaned the system of what they could but I'm still having the problem where as soon as window starts, a popup will say windows explorer is restarting and closes my windows, but doesn't restart the computer. It just closes whatever I had opened and goes to my desktop. Every now and then the same thing will happen as I'm using the comp, like I said it only happened a few days ago. Ideas? Running Win7 ultimate x64.

Did you run malwarebytes in safe mode?

Also, try superantispyware in safe mode.

I would try "Exterminate It". This program has gotten rid of viruses that none of the programs mentioned could. It's payware, not sure if there's a demo.
