  1. I'm trying to make a stop motion skit with some buddies and we captured a few hundred images with a digital camera, now we need to find a good program for turning them into mpeg or avi (the more output options the better).

    It would be nice if it were capable of adjusting frames per second and all that as we haven't yet perfected the speed of it.

    any advice? I put this here since its kinda editing related. Sorry about the cross post if its a big problem.

    Try Slide Show Movie Maker. It's free and a neat little program.

    If you weren't needing to adjust them, almost any video editor can import image sequences-Virtualdub, Vegas, Premiere, QuicktimePro even. AfterEffects is really handy if you need motion/speed control. It even can do rotoscoping. But dedicated stop-motion apps would help a great deal. What about "Toonz"?
