i had one of these installed , but the result is the same. For example , if i go to Apple's trailer-site , and i click to watch a trailer , i cannot watch it on mpclassic or qt-alt.

  3. I am finding a similar problem with new quicktime media. I can play all my old QT files fine but the newer stuff will refuse to play totally or will only play audio. I have tried GSpot, and a handful of other tools to find the video codec used but no luck at all. Has apple maybe locked in DRM or something into these new files or is there another codec besides those in QT-Alt needed?

Probably they use AVC. I am sure QT-Alt will be updated to Quicktime 7 soon enough.
