    How do I convert wmv2 to mpg2? I don't have problems with wmv1 but I seem to with wmv2. (using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5).

    Well WMV1 = WMV 7, WMV2 = WMV 8 and just for completeness WMV3 = WMV 9.

    How are you decoding WMV 7? Via MS's DMO decoders or say ffdshow? If you have uptodate DMO decoders then they should handle WMV1, 2 and 3. ffdshow on the other hand has incomplete written next to WMV2/8.

    I have ffdshow mpe4 video decoder. encoder, codec and audio decoder. I have DOM Reader and Writer (qasf.dll). Am I missing some DOM codecs for wmv2 decoding?

    Should be a DMO Windows Media Video decoder or something like that.
