AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Joiner Help

I'm using AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Joiner to join multiple WMV files into 1. When I go to merge the files I get an error message reading "Not all video file have same profile!" why is this?? I joined similar files and had no problems before. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

the wmvs must have same settings, like same resolution, bitrate or it wont work that well.

or try join with steeper.

Video Edit Magic says it can do what you are trying to do.

I got it to work...or so I think?? I can only play the DVD on my computer's DVD drive, and not my home DVD player. why is this?? Still confused and wondering what the heck is going on here. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Without anymore information than that, I don't have a clue.

If you're trying to play Windows Media files on a standalone DVD Player, I don't know of any that will do this.
