    I am looking for some desktop notes software (XP Home). My basic requirements are non-obtrusive, ability to email notes file and alarm function. Free is good, but I don't mind paying if the program is good. Decent looking skin would be nice, too.

    I believe Quick Notes will suffice, though it's not free. A very nice proggie nonetheless.
