I use the DAC-100 external analogue to DV converter to hook up my vcr to convert VHs tapes to avi and eventually to DVD
I capture with WinDV to avi. With vhs tapes that I have recorded myself the audio video sync is perfect.
When I try to do the same with commercially recorded VHS the the audio video sync goes out as the tape goes on.
Any clues why? How can I get the audio and sync back together? I'm only trying to convert a few commercially bought VHS which are not available on DVD.
Audio video sync is even a problem with a copy of a commercially recorded VHS.
Thanks for any advice
