From what I read on some forums here, there is an ac3 plugin for nero ultra. I also see there is a link to an ac3 plugin for nero ultra. Do I need to download the plugin or not? I am going to take a wave file and convert to ac3 for use in video. I will import the ac3 into tmpgenc dvd author eventually.

If you are attempting to convert a .wav to .ac3, you will need a plugin. Whether you buy the one for Nero or TMPGenc Dvd Author is entirely up to you.

(neroplugins.cd-rw.org) this is the link I seen in the forums. Is this correct? Can anyone guide me to it if not please.
