hi i was just wondering if there is a way for me to convert quicktime to any format that can be put to a dvd disc ?

I use DVD lab pro to make DVD, so here's what i do...
convert the mov to MPEG2 file using TMPGEnc plus (quicktime plugin installed)
then use the MPEG2 file into DVD lab Pro (I think it's the only format that DVDlab accepts)

Or for an even easier method, you can try VSO DivXToDVD. It says it can convert MOV (Quicktime) to DVD. There are other methods in the 'CONVERT' guides to the left. <<<<<

Well assuming that it does use libavformat/codec for input, libavformat does indeed support passing mov files, however libavcodec doesn't support decoding all possible quicktime streams.
