  1. Can anyone tell me if they know anything about this card,the guy sold it to me before I discovered this site.He said that it would do vcd's but it looks like its more for audio editing to me(but i'm a newbie) and i can't find a review of it on this site.
    The unit has internal audigy drive with DV(firewire) in,MIDI i/o,aux in,mic,optical i/o,VCR i/o,headphones and SB aud. card.

    should tell you more- it's the Soundblaster Audigy sound card by creative. I expect it has audio decoder functions for surround sound. VCD playing is achievable using software players (as explained on this site)and a decent CD/DVD-ROM on your pc.
