I'm a newbie to VCD, though I've been playing with video for a while. On this, my first attempt to create a VCD, I'm having some troubles right off the mark.
I have a completed video file, in avi format. I downloaded and installed TMPGEnc in order to convert my avi into an mpg for buring to VCD. The avi plays fine by itself, but when I open it in TMPGEnc to convert it, all I get is a funny colored bar along the bottom of the window. I have tried a couple different .mcf settings that came with the program, but no joy.
The avis were originally captured using a Pinnacle Systems Studio DC10+ capture board and VirtualDub.
Thanks,
Stuart Carroll
