    Ok this is what i want to do. I have a .avi part 1 and part 2. I want to convert both to dvd on 1 disc.... I have a good bit of knowledge but i need some program ideas and a little background info on the programs. thanks, scott

    http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm - convert each AVI to DVD-compliant MPEG-2 files separately, then use your authoring software to join.
