  1. I just downloaded teo movies, one is an avi and the other is a divx..when I attempt to encode, I get an error stating that the file is unsupported...how do I fix that in order to proceed with the encoding?

    Are you sure the download isn't corrupt? Can you play both movies perfectly?

    Virtual dub can corect a corrupt avipen your avi in virtual dub,save the file as old format avi , use compression for both video and audio streams, in full processing mode.I am curious whether this will work

  5. thankd for teh advice...i actually downloaded some divx codecs, installed them and now it works fine...converted using TMPGE and now its time to edit? is that difficult???

    I am haveing this same problem and I also installed the divx codecs and it didnt help so maybe I got the wrong one or something were did you get yours ?
