  2. To get Quicktime to play in full screen, I think you need the Full version/Paid. I think....

  4. Yeah, this is a known problem with the Quicktime format on Windows. The DirectShow filter and decoder don't use the hardware overlay properly and can't be used in Theater mode because of that. Used to be Real had the same problem, along with a couple of other formats, but they got their acts together, unlike Apple.

I actually use Sony Vegas to convert all Quicktime files to another format just so I can watch them fullscreen on my television. It's ridiculous, they've had YEARS to get this working right, but no.

Yeah, it sucks. Write a nasty letter to Apple like I did.

  5. Thanks for the posts people!!
But itīs funny because when i use windows media player 10 (i hate it) it works, in other players like zoom player and mpc it doesnt.
Usually when you play a file on those players you can see the filters theyre using, in this case(quicktime files) the players show none, and in windows media player doesnt show nothing at all
    What a mess!! Any ideas?

  6. I'd be interested if anyone has found a solution to this as well. I really don't want to use WMP and converting quicktime files is annoying as hell.

    Hey, that rhymes.
