I cant get a Quicktime file to render on my Tv on fullscreen(Theater mode) like the other formats with other players like zoom Player and MPC, except when i use Windows media player, anyone knows How i fix it?

To get Quicktime to play in full screen, I think you need the Full version/Paid. I think....

Yeah, this is a known problem with the Quicktime format on Windows. The DirectShow filter and decoder don't use the hardware overlay properly and can't be used in Theater mode because of that. Used to be Real had the same problem, along with a couple of other formats, but they got their acts together, unlike Apple.
I actually use Sony Vegas to convert all Quicktime files to another format just so I can watch them fullscreen on my television. It's ridiculous, they've had YEARS to get this working right, but no.
Yeah, it sucks. Write a nasty letter to Apple like I did. -

But itīs funny because when i use windows media player 10 (i hate it) it works, in other players like zoom player and mpc it doesnt.
Usually when you play a file on those players you can see the filters theyre using, in this case(quicktime files) the players show none, and in windows media player doesnt show nothing at all
What a mess!! Any ideas?
