Just thought I'd recommend the unlimited rentals program currently being rolled out at a local chain store. You have the option of disks delivered to your mailbox or you can pick them out in the store. You can cancel at any time before the trial period is over.

Not that this is OT or anything...
but after all the crap I go through on a a regular
basis buying PVT/PVDVD from them, I'd pass on Big Blue's
rental program..."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

When I'm not here, Where can I be found?

Why reward someone who didn't come up with the original idea, of rentals by mail, in the first place.
I've always preferred to support the little guys, the ones who took the initial risk. The ones that think "Out of the Box"
That's why I've used a Mac for 21 years. -
Yes, but think of this like a fat man at an all-you-can-eat buffet....I activated my membership on Thursday for $15 and I've already checked out 20 disks...
Why wait for the mailman? Pick a store near you and sign up for the in-store option.Merlin Macuser

I've been a member for over 2 years and the only advantage to the store is a New Release. Since my movie going days have all but dried up, (I'd wager that the only movie I will actually go see, this year, will be "Star Wars"), I'm not the person you'll see at the video stores, on Tuesday, waiting for the new ones.
They both serve a purpose for folks like you and me that are on opposite ends of the spectrum. -
renting lots of videos, are we?
i've got the blockbuster movie pass, sort of a waste of 24 dollars each month because my blockbuster has a horrible selection. -
my blockbuster is smarter than that i think. mine is 15 for the first month, then 24 for the subsequent months. i should try it though.

I'd rather sit at home in my underwear. People in the theaters just stare when I do that there... :PMerlin Macuser

My SO hates it...last year we went to go see Bad BoysII and she about lost it, because the teenagers in front of us kept talking THROUGHOUT
the whole movie.
Still, we learned our lesson, and go to the movies during the weekdays,
when kids are SUPPOSED to be in school. We went and saw Sin City
( which along with SW:ROTS and Batman Begins will be my only
foray this year) today, and with less than five people in the theatre
it was G R E A T!!
but you can actually cut your cable bill down by switching to a rental service, and only keep the basic channels you want. I'm thinking
of doing that here soon... -
yeah, i told a very fat, loud woman on a cell phone to shut the **** up during Freddy vs. Jason. i hate when people talk at the movies.
