i have recently noticed a problem with VLC,which has so far been bulletproof.
When playing straight .bin files i get audio dropouts every 10-15 seconds. This happened with multiple bin files so i know it's not file specific.
I have found however that this problem doesn't occur when i mount and watch the file with PowerDVD,so for my PC it's no big deal.
The thing is,when trying to watch these files on a Mac i hit the same problem with VLC and i can't find a player that will successfully watch .bin files in OSX.I've tried mounting the image but still no joy.MacVCD seems to have issues doing anything at all so i trashed it.Quicktime and WinMedia both refuse the file, even if i extract the mpeg with VCDGear.
Burning them is a pain in the A at the moment so i would rather figure out an alternative solution.
Any ideas? thks!
