    hey, i have burned a DVD file format a map called DVD-video i have burned with nero 6 (tried burning iso and DVD video) anyway powerDVD plays my VIDEO_TS but my DVD player not (there is nothing wrong with my DVD player) i have created a DVD menu with DVD menu and i created my DVD with DVDmeastro does anyone now what's wrong??? because i don't now the problem (DVD burned 2X speed and it's a DVD-R -

  2. 1st question has to be, is your DVD player compatible with DVD-r. Check the DVD players list or manufacturers specs to see if it is.
    2nd, it could be an authoring error. Software players like PowerDvd are a lot more forgiving of authoring errors than standalones.

    3rd, it might help if you told us the make and model of your DVD player and what happens when you try to play the disk. Also the make/model of your burner and the MediaID code of the burnt disk (use DVDInfoPro to get this, the brand name means little or nothing) could be useful.

    Make sure your AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders are in all CAPS. If not the computer will play them fine but stand-alones may not. Just something to check.

    no i don't use ps2 as dvd player i used a normal dvd player
